Renwick Mc Cave is a Registered General Nurse and trained Critical Care Nurse. His specialties include Intensive Care Nursing (ICU), Adult and Paediatric Open Heart Surgery. Mr. Mc Cave obtained a Certificate in Nursing Education from the UWI St. Augustine (2001), a Diploma in Higher Educationin Nursing from the South Bank University (2000) and a MEd in Education from the University of Sheffield (2005).
Mr. Mc Cave has been lecturing since 1988 with several organisations. He is a lecturer for the Basic and Post Basic NursingProgrammes. He is also an American Heart Association Instructor re: Basic Life Support & Advanced Cardiac Life Support. He has held several managerial positions including Manager Nursing Services at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex Authority. At the present time he is the Administrator for one of the American Heart Association Centres in Trinidad and Tobago.
In 2006 Mr. Mc Cave founded his own Health Educational Organization (eREN )which caters to individuals of the Health Care Industry. He was a member of the Nursing Council of Trinidad and Tobago for 15 years and has been an examiner for the Nursing Council and other Organisations. He has served on various committees including Ministerial Committees.
His core values are quality, innovation and integrity and this has helped shaped his way forward and helped him with his accomplishments.
He is married and is the father of two sons.
