This course provides nurses and other qualified health personnel with the basic information for interpreting cardiac rhythm strips and making decisions based on analysis. It is designed to prepare the participant with the knowledge and skills required to interpret basic cardiac rhythm strips. Content covers the anatomy and physiology of the heart, the conduction system, the PQRST waveform, dysrhythmia interpretation, placement, and demonstration of ECG leads.
