CARDIAC MONITORING

This course is designed to equip registered nurses and other qualified persons with the knowledge and skills to perform cardiac monitoring. Content includes definition of cardiac monitoring, indications, classes of patients requiring cardiac monitoring, devices used, review of anatomy and physiology of the heart, definition of the term ECG and lead placement.
